This simple yet popular cheese is fresh and extremely palatable. A pale straw yellow colour. It is a flat wheel shape with a yet to form rind. Caciotta has a closed texture and a pleasantly milky taste, which it loses as it ages. It has a very refreshing taste and can adapt readily to added flavours. It is marinated in a refreshing but sophisticated lemon flavoured vegetable oil.

Gourmet Caciotta al limone is:
