Burleigh Cheese Festival: A Celebration to Remember
What started as an exciting idea became a wonderful reality as we welcomed the community to the first-ever Burleigh Cheese Festival, and what a celebration it was!
From families and friends to local business owners, cheese lovers and curious visitors, more people came through our doors than we ever expected. The energy, smiles and excitement throughout the day made our very first festival a truly special occasion for everyone at Fresco Cheese.
A Day Filled with Cheese, Community and Fun
One of the biggest highlights of the day was, of course, the cheese!
Our visitors lined up for the opportunity to enjoy free tastings from across the Fresco Cheese range, and the long queues were a wonderful sight for our team. It was fantastic to see so many people discovering, tasting and enjoying the cheeses that we proudly craft right here at the Burleigh Cheesery.
But the festival was about much more than cheese.
Families enjoyed a range of activities throughout the day, with plenty to keep our youngest visitors entertained. The petting zoo, face painting and colouring activities brought plenty of smiles and laughter, making the festival a day the whole family could enjoy.
Meanwhile, adults had plenty to celebrate too. Visitors were able to enjoy delicious food, drinks and a selection of offerings from the other local merchants who joined us in making the day such a memorable celebration.
The Perfect Day for a Festival
And then there was the weather.
With beautiful weather throughout the celebration, the conditions couldn't have been better for bringing the community together. The sunshine, great food, drinks, activities and, of course, plenty of cheese created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed day at the Burleigh Cheesery.
The turnout was genuinely beyond what we expected. Seeing so many people from the local community come together and celebrate with us was incredibly rewarding.

A huge thank you also goes to all the merchants, partners, suppliers and everyone who helped make the day possible.
Your support, energy and contribution helped turn our first festival into something we will remember for a long time.
Most importantly, thank you for making us feel that this celebration belongs to the whole Burleigh community.
And This Is Only the Beginning…
If our first-ever Burleigh Cheese Festival taught us anything, it's that Burleigh loves cheese — and we love celebrating with Burleigh!
Rest assured, next year's festival will be even bigger and better. We're already looking forward to bringing the community together again, with more cheese, more food, more activities, more local businesses and even more reasons to celebrate.
And who knows? This could become a tradition that keeps getting bigger every year.
